Privacy policy

1. What we collect

• Account data (optional): if you sign in, your email address or phone number, or your Google account name and email, plus a display name.
• Your activity on TipKhel: poll votes, fan picks, contest entries, follows, chat messages and points.
• Push notifications (optional): a push subscription token, only if you allow notifications.
• Technical data: IP-derived country, device and browser type, and basic logs used for security and to fix errors. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less Cloudflare Web Analytics.
• Cookies: only what is needed for sign-in, language, theme and app mode. No advertising cookies.

2. What we don't do

• We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. TipKhel shows no ads.
• TipKhel is information only: we don't take or pay money, offer betting, or link to betting operators.
• We don't collect precise location, contacts, photos or payment details.

3. Why we use it

To run your account, show predictions in your language and region, send the alerts you asked for, keep chat safe, prevent abuse and improve the service.

4. Who processes it

Hosting and database (Railway), content delivery and analytics (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), sign-in with Google (Google) and push delivery (Google Firebase / browser push services). They process data only to provide these services.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time; see Delete your account. We delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access is limited to people who need it to run TipKhel.

7. Age

TipKhel is for users aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent (for example, turn off notifications), under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you.
